Venezuela. Efter år med hyperinflation og en dyb økonomisk, humanitær og demokratisk krise, er hundredetusindevis af venezuelanere på gaden i protest mod den siddende præsident Nicolás Maduro. Den 35-årige oppositionsleder og formand for Venezuelas nationalforsamling, Juan Guaidó, har for folket erklæret sig selv som midlertidig præsident og han bakkes nu op af blandt andre, Canada, Brasilien, USA og Danmark.
